I love the scenery of the Yarra Valley, so when Anne got in touch to redeem a gift voucher and organise a date to photograph her dogs I was very excited to learn that she lived in the Yarra Valley and hoped to use a location close to home.
If the picturesque location wasn’t enough Anne informed me that her dogs were all very well trained and took part in obedience activities and competitions. This was getting better by the minute!
Zoe the Cattle Dog was 14 years old, Rhythm the Aussie Shepherd, 3 years old and the new recruit Echo was a 14 month old Cattle Dog.
Although the week had been very hot, we were blessed with a pleasant end to the day with only a little wind, which made the session really relaxed enjoyable for both dogs and humans.
Following some photos at the location we moved onto Anne’s home to capture the dogs in action over jumps and playing together.
If you’re reading this and thinking to yourself ‘But my dog won’t sit still‘, don’t worry about that as we’re used to working with dogs who move around alot and aren’t necessarily trained to such a high standard so we are still able to create some beautiful pet photos for your home.
Unfortunately there is a sad footnote to this post as sadly, Zoe has now crossed the rainbow bridge, but I hope these photos bring Anne and her family plenty of smiles when they look back on them.
