Merlin

Regular readers of the blog may remember that after photographing the dogs Onyx & Star, I mentioned they had some rather special cousins that needed photographing just outside of Melbourne. Well on this occasion, my subjects weren’t dogs, but horses. The eldest of the three is a rather special horse to his owner Kirsty who has been riding him for years so he was the main focus of our photoshoot. As you’ll see below, he has the most stunning eyes – absolutely gorgeous and from what I hear, very unusual.

I’ve also included a shot of one of Merlin’s stablemates who is a tricky little character – he can untie ropes with his teeth – you know, the usual horse escapologist stuff…
